About Me

Educational History:

This is my fourth year in the district and by far the best one I have ever worked in! Wichita State University is where I earned my undergraduate degree and I also have an administration degree from Baker University.

Degrees and Certifications:

I am a certified teacher in K-6th grade and am also certified to teach middle-level English Language Arts. I have taught kindergarten, first, third, fourth and fifth, and sixth grade. I also hold my administration license. 

Current Position:

This is my 13th year in education. I am happy to be back in 5th grade. This is a big year that prepares students for middle school!

Family Information:

I have one wonderful son. He is 15 years old and a sophomore at Bishop Carroll High School. I also am a HUGE dog lover. I have a Chorkie that I adore. 

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling to different places in the world. The beach is my happy place.
