Daily Lunch Schedule Recess Guidelines

KDG 10:55-11:30 Weather permitting, the students will play outside. Weather that may

1^st 11:55-12:25 require indoor recess includes, rain, snow, lightening or extreme

2^nd 12:15-12:45 heat/cold. Students will NOT be allowed to stay in without a note

3^rd 11:35-12:05 from home.

4^th 12:30-1:00 Heat guidelines will follow the KSHSAA Activity Modification Policy

5^th 11:15-11:45 https://www.kshsaa.org/Public/pdf/HeatPolicy-Current.pdf

Cold Guidelines will be as follows for the “feels like” temperature

32 degrees and above= outdoor recess

20-31 degrees= classes may go outside for limited breaks

19 degrees and below= indoor recess
