I have been teaching eighth grade Life Science and Robotics in Douglass for the last ten years. I have over 40 years of teaching or admiinistrative experience.
I started teaching in the Columbus Public Schools in Columbus, Ohio in the early seventies. I then served as a principal in a Christian School for 11 years prior to moving to Kansas. I began teaching in the Wichita Public Schools in the early eighties, and after teaching 20 years in USD 259, I retired to come to Douglass in 2005.
I have been married to my wife, Vicky, for forty-five years. She is also a teacher. Together, we have taught for 75+ years. We have three grown children, two boys and a girl and between our three children, we have nine grandchildren ranging in age from four months to eighteen years.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, shooting, wood-working and hanging out with my wife, our children and grandchildren (all 9 of them).
