I am a 1986 graduate of Douglass High School and very proud of the education and experiences I received from our wonderful School District. I am a graduate of Southwestern College, Emporia State University, and Wichita State University.

Current Position:
I began my teaching career in the Remington School District where I was a teacher and coached football, wrestling, and track. I served as a school counselor in the South Haven and Conway Springs school districts before moving to Douglass. While serving the Douglass School District for the past 28 years, I have served as high school assistant principal and athletic director, Seal Elementary Principal, and currently in my seventeenth year as superintendent of schools.

Family Information:
I have been married to Kristen for 30 years. We have two children who attended Douglass Schools. Matthew is a senior Ag Business and Agronomy major at K-State, and Hannah is a Chemistry and PLTW Human Body Systems teacher at Goddard Eisenhower.

Personal Information:
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family watching kids’ activities and enjoying outdoor activities. I love to ride motorcycles and enjoy hunting and fishing.
