Social Studies: The students are taking a geo quiz nearly every day. There are 6 little quizzes that are pass/fail (not graded) they will do and they must pass it twice before moving on to the next quiz. After the 6th mini quiz, they have the final quiz that covers most of what the mini quizzes covered. The students will have 2 opportunities to take this quiz and they will recieve the higher of the two scores for their grade.
We are wrapping up Chapters 1 & 2. The next Chapter covers explorers.
Math: We are doing Mountain Math. The students will have two weeks to do it before turning in the folders for a grade. Besides Accelerated Math, we are working from the book. We are currently working on Multiplication. If a student gets a grade lower than a C on a math assignment, that student may correct their mistakes and turn it in again. I will average the first and second grade together for a new (and preferably better) grade.
Extended Day: Students have this resource available to them as extra time to get work done and have a teacher available to them when needed. It is every day from 3:15-4:15.

AR: If you forget the guidelines for AR tests, they are in the Reading Logs. Don't risk a test not counting! This is a TEST grade for Reading!
